Free Seminar: Keeping your money in the family – How to have your cake and eat it!

Retirement and Investment Solutions, specialist financial advisors for the over-50s and Hedge End-based solicitors, Eric Robinson, invite you to join us on Thursday May 9th at 5:30pm for an enjoyable and informative seminar tackling the hot topic of Money and How to Keep Control of It.

We will look at how to pass on your financial legacy to loved ones, without having substantial sums go to the taxman, how to avoid your hard earned money being swallowed up in care fees and how to manage your money through divorce.

1. Births, deaths and marriages – control where your money goes

Leading solicitors Eric Robinson, explore the topic of Trusts, what are they and how they can be used to mitigate Inheritance Tax or protect assets, for example in the case of second marriages and care fees.

 2. BPR – Inheritance Tax: Have your Cake and Eat it

Most common Inheritance Tax mitigation schemes require you to give the money away, meaning it is not accessible should you need it in an emergency. On top of this, you would normally have to survive for a seven year period to gain any benefit.

Retirement and Investment Solutions introduce you to a scheme that reduces your Inheritance Tax liability without you having to give away your assets – in other words, you can have your cake and eat it.
