Justin started his financial services career over ten years ago working for a large high street bank. Following this he moved to Norwich Union where he became more focused on pensions and investments and started to pursue the Financial Planning Certificate. This interest in financial services and working in a client-focused environment lead Justin to a trainee consultant role with Scottish Equitable where he successfully completed the financial planning certificate.
He gained further experience working on various high profile projects within financial services in recent years. This specialist knowledge was put to good use when Justin joined a large local advice firm.
Justin joined RIS in 2008 as full time support to Pat Williams. As well as this Justin is heavily involved in marketing for the company as well as looking after some of the regulatory requirements that have to be undertaken.
Like many of the members of staff at RIS Justin is currently studying for professional exams to expand his knowledge of the industry yet further.
Working at RIS has given me a great opportunity to work alongside Pat and meet clients who have all sorts of varied and interesting circumstances. It is satisfying to know that what we do can have a real difference to our clients. Like Jackie I also have two young boys and when I am not busy at work they certainly keep me on my toes. Outside of work I like to keep fit by playing squash and I am born-again runner! I also enjoy gardening and meeting up with friends regularly.”
