Pat has been advising clients on all financial matters since 1980 and specialises in advising the over 50’s who want to work with someone who is able to cut through all the jargon and explain everything in easy to understand terms. With her experience in Pensions, Investments, Equity Release and Long Term Care, Pat is ideally suited to provide advice on all areas of financial planning that are important pre and post retirement.
Pat and her colleague Steve Webb founded Meon Valley Financial Planning Ltd in 1997, which was born out of a desire to offer something different – to really add value to their clients’ lives. Following 10 successful years, the trading name of the company was changed to Retirement and Investment Solutions to reflect their specialism in advising client’s at the most crucial time of their lives - retirement.
Pat has a select number of clients that she works with on an ongoing basis in a relaxed but professional and personable way. Pat truly understands that the invest and forget attitude of some financial advisers has affected the perception of the industry but her clients know that she always has time for them and the regular contact means her clients can be sure that their investment and pension assets continue to work to their maximum potential.
Outside of work, Pat has been happily married for a number of years and has a son who is currently living on a Greek Island, providing Pat with plenty of opportunities to visit this beautiful part of the world. Being an “empty nester” means Pat has time to enjoy long walks/ cycle rides, socialise with friends and continue her study of the French language.
Pat is qualified to Diploma level with the Personal Finance Society (DipPFS), and also has Long Term Care and Equity Release qualifications.
