Although Sue’s first job after leaving school (many years ago) was with an insurance company, her recent career in financial planning started in August 1991, when she joined a small IFA company on a part time basis to provide admin support.
She has developed a keen interest in this business and in particular the client service aspect. Sue completed her Financial Planning Certificate in 1999 and has been with Retirement and Investment Solutions for over 6 years now.
As Sue’s two children have grown up she has been able to increase her working hours to full time. Jon and Steph are now aged 22 and 20 respectively.
Outside of work Sue has a full life with many varied interests. She has been a fund-raiser for Save The Children for many years now and is currently secretary of the local volunteer branch. Throughout the summer months her social life is heavily involved with the Fareham & Crofton Cricket club. Her husband Tony is a regular player for the second team and is club Secretary. Sue is the second team scorer, which she loves doing.
Sue is also a keen (though slow) distance runner. She has completed the London Marathon on three occasions and has not ruled out another attempt at this distance.
Sue and Tony love to travel abroad for their holidays and visit different places. However they always try to fit in a week on a canal boat each year.
