Is it too late to get busy with Social Media?

You cannot have failed to have heard about social media with Twitter and Facebook constantly being quoted in the news. Like us, you may remember a time when journalists had to go out and find the story rather than read it from a website; well those days appear to be behind us.

Now you might argue that RIS is serious a business that serves mature people with a sensible outlook on their retirement and not the sort who tweet about what they had for breakfast, which is of course true. However, we have recently been testing the water with Social Media and we were staggered to see how many local people approaching retirement are actively using the different tools, Facebook in particular.

So it is with a little nervousness that RIS have waded in to the Social Media melee with a view to broadening awareness of RIS and building better relationships with our customers, and enabling our customers to build friendships amongst themselves.  So you will be delighted to hear that you can now follow us on Twitter, become a fan on Facebook and that very shortly we will be blogging which we hope will serve to bring us all closer together.

What we would dearly like from you is for you to be involved, so whilst our blogs, tweets and posts will have something to do with our successes and industry insights we are also hoping that you will take the opportunity to share your achievements and opinions with our community.

All you have to do is email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we will do the rest.

We will look forward to discovering what you have been up to soon.
